St. Peter's Auction

Thanks to everyone who helped make our "Enchanted Evening" benefit auction such a great success, including those who worked on or at the event, made a donation, and/or attended, helping to make it a truly enchanted evening.

The auction is a new activity for the St. Peter's family which proposed in January 2010 by our principal, Michael Clavin. We wish to thank Father Garisto for all his support with the event, and to Mr. Clavin who envisioned this annual event which will become the main fundraiser.

Special thanks to the Auction Committee who organized the "Enchanted Evening" with extraordinary efficiency working so hard and sacrificing their personal agenda for more than two months making this a complete success.

The festivities included a tribute to the generous spirit of long-term friends of St. Peter's, Robert and Kathleen Wermuth, whose family attended St. Peter's School over five consecutive generations. All five of Mr. and Mrs. Wermuth's children were in attendance, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   A silent and live auction, raffles, and live entertainment were other highlights of the evening.  Our own St. Peter's family celebrities enlivened the evening with their skills:  Coach Pete McKenna did a magnificent job as auctioneer, and Mark Raisch's smooth, crystal-clear voice and excellent choice of music kept guests entertained throughout the evening.  The cake provided by Vivian Raisch was as much a showpiece as it was delicious. The variety of items and services offered for raffle and auction was immense, and guests left with many wonderful winnings.
