Retailers Fundraising Programs

St. Peter’s School also participates in the following programs offered by several retail stores and corporations.  Families are requested to participate wherever practical.  Please encourage your families and friends to participate as well.

Boxtops for Education Program
Clip  Boxtops from hundreds of products, many of which you probably already purchase on a regular basis.  Send the box tops to school in an envelope or baggie marked Boxtops to Dawn Sala.  These can be redeemed for cash - 10 cents per Box Top.  We will receive a check from Box Tops two times a year.
The BoxTops website  www.boxtops4education.com    lists participating brands and the earning record for St. Peter’s School.  To access it,  follow these steps:

Log on to www.boxtops4education.com Click on 'Sign Up now' Type in  'Peter’s'  and Select  'NY'  from the drop down menu Click  'Continue', Click on  'St. Peter’s School - Poughkeepsie'  to highlight, Click  'Choose this school'  and continue Create Profile

Campbell's "Labels for Education" Program

Clip and save the UPC codes from participating products, not the entire label.  This program enables us to earn FREE merchandise for our school.  For more information on this program and participating products visit   www.labelsforeducation.com      Send these in to school in an envelope or baggie marked Campbell’s to Dawn Sala.

Hannaford's  "Hannaford Helps Schools"  Program
By purchasing qualifying products at any Hannaford store, you can earn “school dollars” (which directly translate into cash) in support of St. Peter’s School.  Here's how it works -
 (1)  Shop at any Hannaford store.
 (2)  Select among qualifying products.  These products can be identified by “Earn Money for   Your School” shelf tags displayed throughout the store.  You can also find a full list of qualifying products at    www.hannaford.com/hhs

 (3)  At checkout, you will earn 3 school dollars for every 4 qualifying products bought.
These school dollars will look like store coupons.
 (4)  The school dollars can then be sent in to our school in an envelope addressed to ‘Loretta Walsh’ or directly deposited into the slot designated for St. Peter’s School in the “Hannaford Helps Schools” tower display stand at the 152 Stringham Road, Lagrangeville store (across from Arlington High School, off of Route 55).  All school dollars must be deposited by December 18, 2009 at the Lagrangeville store.
Each week, an extra-credit product will be featured (a poster of it will be displayed at each store).  This product can earn an extra school dollar for our school when bought with 3 other qualifying items.  There is a limit of one extra school dollar per transaction.  The extra-credit product is changed each Friday.
Invite family members and friends to shop, too, at any Hannaford store in support of St. Peter’s School.   If you are not a regular Hannaford customer, please consider making one trip to Hannaford’s to earn at least the minimum of 3 school dollars.  With everyone’s support, the school dollars can really add up!
Those schools that raise the most money will be awarded an additional $1000 grant from Hannaford!  Checks will be distributed in March 2010.

Hannaford's program runs from September 6, 2009 to December 6, 2009.

Office Depot's  "5% Back to Schools"  Program

By shopping at any Office Depot store, we can support our school through our individual purchases through Office Depot’s “5% Back to Schools” program.

At check-out time, please just specify our school id (70074717)  and St. Peter’s will earn 5% of qualifying purchases of basic student supplies.  You can also shop at   www.officedepot.com   or at 1-800-GO-DEPOT.  A list of qualifying products can be found under “5% Back to Schools Program” under “Specials” at the bottom of the Office Depot’s home page.

On a quarterly basis, St. Peter’s will receive a merchandise card equal to the amount earned for that pay period if equaled to $10 or more.  An amount less than $10 will not be rolled over to the next quarter.

Please note, if you forget to specify our school id when you make a purchase, you can correct for this by bringing your receipt back to any store (within the same quarter) and have the 5% applied to our school.  For on-line or phone orders, you will need to fill out an on-line form (again, within the same quarter) at www.officedepot.com/promo/backtoschool/input.do.  The on-line form can also be found under “5% Back to Schools Program” under “Specials” at the bottom of the Office Depot’s home page.

Please remember, this is a program that your family and friends can participate in, too, to support our school, so pass the word on!

Price Chopper’s “Tools for Schools” Program

By using your Price Chopper AdvantEdge card at any Price Chopper store, you can electronically earn points for St. Peter’s School that can be used for educational supplies and equipment. In order to participate:
(1) If you don’t have one already, get a Price Chopper AdvantEdge Card at any Price Chopper store (at the Customer Service counter) and have the store representative assign our school code, 16258, to your card.
(2) If you had signed up for this program in a previous year, you can go on-line at
www.pricechopper.com   to verify your enrollment. A shopper only needs to register once to participate in this program from year to year, but yearly verification is recommended (to verify data-base updating from year to year). People who already own an AdvantEdge card can go to this website, too, to assign our school code to their cards; so please pass along our school code to family and friends. They can also go to their local store (to the Customer Service counter) to have our school code assigned to their cards.
(3) Use your AdvantEdge card at check-out to earn points automatically for our school, one point per dollar spent. By purchasing specially-tagged bonus-points items, you can earn extra points for St. Peter’s, too. Look for Featured Brands brochures at your local Price Chopper store. The credit earned by your purchases will be reflected on your receipt. The top 100 schools with the greatest number of points earned and the top 100 schools with the greatest points-to-student ratio will win a GBC ShredMaster Departmental Shredder. . . 200 in all to be given out!  The top school with the greatest number of points earned and the top school with the greatest points-to-student ratio will win 350,000 bonus points, enough to get anything in the “Tools for Schools” catalog!

Price Chopper's program will run through February 13, 2010.

Target's  "Take Charge of Education"  Program

By shopping at any Target store or at Target.com, we can support our school through our individual purchases through Target’s “Take Charge of Education” program. All you have to do is assign  our school id (10911) to your Target Credit Card, Target Check Card, or Target Visa Credit Card.
Every time that you use your card at Target or Target.com   you will earn 1% of your purchases for our school. When you use the Target Visa Credit Card elsewhere, you will  earn  ½ %   of your purchases for our school.  Twice a year (in March and September), St. Peter’s will be sent a check if the amount earned for that pay period is $25 or more. If the amount is less than $25, it will be carried over to the next pay period. By owning a Target card, you can also participate in Target’s “Rewards” and “Pharmacy Rewards” programs, in which you can earn a “10% off” shopping day from time to time. To learn how to apply for a Target card and/or enroll in Target’s “Take Charge of Education” program, please go directly to www.target.com/tcoe  , call 1-800-316-6142, or follow these directions :
Go to www.target.com.  Under "Company Information" at the bottom of the screen, select "Community". On the next screen, select "More About Education". On the "Target Supports Education" screen,  go to "Take Charge of Education" and select "Learn More". On the next screen, scroll down to "Learn How It Works" and select "How It Works". On the next screen ("How the Program Works"), you can learn how to apply (either by mail or at a store) for a Target card (Target Visa Credit Card, Target Credit Card, or Target Check Card), if you don't already have one. From this same screen, you can go to "Enroll in Take Charge of Education" (on the right-hand side of the screen) and select "Enroll Now". Enrolling involves assigning our school code (10911) to your Target card of choice. Once the assignment is made, every time your Target card is used, a certain percentage of your purchase will go to St. Peter's automatically. Please remember, this is a program that your family and friends can participate in, too, to support our school, so pass the word on!

Stop & Shop's "A+ Bonus Bucks" Program

By using your Stop & Shop card at any Stop & Shop store, you can electronically earn points at checkout time. Your monthly point totals will be translated into cash for St. Peter’s School. To participate:
1) If you don’t have one already, you can get a Stop & Shop Card at any Stop & Shop store (at the Customer Service counter) or on-line by creating a Stop & Shop account at www.stopandshop.com   Choose “My Stop & Shop” from the green menu bar at the top of the screen, then select “Stop & Shop Card”.

Our school is listed as “St Peters Parochial Elementary” under “NY-Poughkeepsie”. It may take up to 7 days for your information to be entered into their system. You will need to re-register your card in the program each new school year. Every time that you use your card at checkout, your total transaction will be rounded to the nearest dollar. This will be the amount of points earned for that transaction. At the end of each month, the points for St. Peter’s will be totaled. St. Peter’s monthly total will then be divided by the total number of points earned by all of the participating “A+” schools. The result will specify St. Peter’s percentage of the overall monthly award to be given out by Stop & Shop. The school’s totals will be updated monthly on-line at   www.stopandshop.com/aplus  under “School Accounts Totals”, under “A+”. Your personal points will be reflected on your receipts or at your on-line account at www.stopandshop.com. A check will be mailed to St. Peter’s at the end of the program, if the amount is greater than or equal to $5. Purchases of Extra Credit Items will earn an additional 50 points per item. A list of Extra Credit Items can be found at each store or on-line at   www.stopandshop.com/aplus    under “Extra Credit Items”, under “A+”. The list is changed every 2 weeks. This program also applies to the “Giant” chain of grocery stores of the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. For card application, please refer to www.giantfood.com (see step #1 above).
