Here's how it works - The Scrip program purchases gift cards and gift certificates in bulk from many well-known retailers at a discounted rate. The gift cards and certificates are then sold to the St. Peter's community at their face value, resulting in a profit to the school. Anyone may purchase the shopping cards and use them to buy groceries, clothing, gifts, etc. The savings are then passed on to St. Peter's School. (For example, purchasing a Barnes & Noble $10.00 gift card for $10.00 will earn 10%, or $1.00, for St. Peter's School) Each merchant designates a certain percentage of profit allowed the school, and the amount will vary from one merchant to the next, but you will always pay only the exact face value of the card, which means you're earning profits while spending no more than you ordinarily would for things you would routinely buy anyway !
New this year! Once profit earned by a family reaches $50.00, the family will qualify to have 50% of all subsequent profits returned in the form of tuition reimbursement for the following school year (2010/2011). Your family and friends may buy gift cards in this program and their profit will be applied toward your tuition reimbursement. Their card purchases must be included in your family's order, so 'pool your resources' and submit them all together in your family's name.
The SCRIP program is a win/win situation for everyone. If you, your family and friends combine all your orders and submit them as one, you can easily exceed the $50 profit returned mark, thereby qualifying to have 50% of all subsequent profit credited to you in the form of tuition reimbursement for the following school year !
Ordering can be done in two ways:
1) Paper order form is sent home once a month by the Scrip Coordinator, then can be filled out and returned by the due date, usually around the middle of each month. You may also click here to obtain the paper order form at any time.
2) Order online through www.ShopWithScrip.com where you will have instant access to all available vendors and gift cards. Just follow the above link to initiate the process. The first time, you will set up an account. Simply click "create account" under the "Family Sign Up" green box on the left side. St. Peter's unique enrollment code, which will be requested during registration, is: 53BDB423165L3.
Order due dates for the remainder of the school year will be:

Cards are always delivered quickly, usually within a few days of placing the order.
ADAMS FAIRACRE FARMS CARDS NOW AVAILABLE DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR SCHOOL !
We are now selling SCRIP gift cards to Adams in $25.00 and $50.00 denominations. Since Adams is a local retailer, the ordering procedure is slightly different, in that you can not order Adams SCRIP cards online at the SCRIP website. You may purchase them directly from the school at anytime, or on the monthly SCRIP order form which is sent home with your child. Adams is generously donating 10% of each purchase to our school. The cards will sell for the exact face value. You may order these cards at any time by clicking here , printing out the order form and returning it to the school. Profit will be applied toward school profits & tuition reimbursement as outlined above.
